Most AFLW Goals of All Time: Top 10 Highest AFLW Goal Kickers

26/11/2025|SB Staff|AFL News

We’re celebrating 10 seasons of the AFLW, and we’re starting to hit some big milestones in the growing competition.

Since its inception in 2017, a select group of players have separated themselves and stand out as the most lethal finishers in front of goal.

From the straightforward set-shot to the ridiculous bending from the impossible angle, some players more than others have a knack and an eye for finding the middle of the big sticks.

These players below make up the top 10 AFLW Leading Goalkickers of all time. Who are they? Let’s find out!

= 9. Eden Zanker - 77 goals

One of the premier forwards in the competition is entering her prime and has her best years ahead of her.

Having already shared the league’s leading goalkicker title with her captain in season 2023, Zanker’s growth has been incredibly strong.

= 9. Tayla Harris - 77 goals

She has a statue of her famous kick. And for good reason, too.

The purest set-shot at goal in the league features in the list of most goals. A four-time All-Australian and a four-time leading goalkicker across three different clubs. And, she has plenty left in the tank.

8. Tahlia Randall - 81 goals

One of the AFLW’s great aerial players, Randall has made a habit of menacing opponents at both ends of the ground.

A defender-turned-forward, her work ethic and desire to put in for the team made her the spearhead of the all-conquering Kangaroos team.

= 6. Jesse Wardlaw - 83 goals

The Kiwi netballer turned Aussie rules key forward is one of the stars of the competition.

When it comes down to players making a monumental impact (and looking cool while doing so), it’s hard to look past the game-changing prowess of forward spearhead Jesse Wardlaw.

= 6. Dakota Davidson - 83 goals

Davidson is the number one name circled on opposition defensive whiteboards and for good reason, too. The bigger the stage, the bigger the performance Davidson produces, who has a knack for delivering with her deadly accuracy in front of goals from all angles.

5. Katie Brennan - 84 Goals

The Tigers skipper’s skillset is unrivalled, with her freakish finishing, a strong pair of hands and running power. She’s led the Tigers' goalkicking on five consecutive occasions.

4. Danielle Ponter - 91 goals

The niece of Essendon great Michael Long has led the way for Indigenous women in the AFLW and has established herself as the game's most dynamic threat forward of centre.

She took home ‘Goal of the Year’ in 2024 for her insane bomb from the middle of the ground that somehow trickled through.

3. Jasmine Garner - 98 goals

There’s not much this superstar Roo can’t do on the footy field. Most likely to be the next superstar to crack the 100-goal mark, the leading goalkicker award remains one of just two elusive awards that Garner hasn’t won in her decorated career.

2. Gemma Houghton - 100 goals

The Power superstar was the first player in history to reach the 100-goal mark. Brought up in style with the last kick of the last round of the season and met with a full team celebration.

1. Kate Hore - 105 goals

The Dees skipper is the sharpest shooter of all and stands out in a loaded Melbourne forward line. Not only is Hore a dead-eye from the set shot, but she can dob them from any angle at any time.
