SAMBAS MARK (4) followed an unplaced effort first-up two runs back with a second last start over 1207m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. SIDEWINDER SLICK (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1006m at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. DELBERT TOO (2) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1207m at this track. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort.
