MY BOY BRUCE (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.75 lengths when fifth in a 1710m contest at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. CLIVE CROSS (4) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 0.6 lengths over 1710m at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. FAST AND READY (8) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1408m at Fort Erie Turf, beaten 7 lengths. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake.
