PADRAIG (9) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing fifth and beaten 5.5 lengths starting at $2.85. Nicely placed to turn things around. MAC GOWAN (5) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing fifth last start over 1408m at this track six-and-a-half weeks ago. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and is expected to run well. BEE ME (6) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1308m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. No surprise to see him in contention.
