APOLLOMAN (4) debuted two-and-a-half weeks ago when he finished seventh over 1207m at this track, beaten 13 lengths. Likely improver and can get off the mark this time. LAKE NASSER (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 1710m at Woodbine, beaten 21 lengths into tenth. Won't find this as tough so he is set to turn things around. PRIME RATE (9) is a three-year-old gelding at the races for the first time. From an elite family that includes black type success, being by Gamble's Exchange from Good As Gold. Looks set to make a positive start to his career despite a difficult gate.
