KATHERINE'S CUB (3) is back after a break of 12 weeks. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at her latest appearance over 1207m at Woodbine All Weather. Good effort to open last prep when in the money at Woodbine All Weather over 1308m. Has ability and can get off the mark. BERTHA (1) returned last time with a solid third at this track over 1509m after being in contention on the turn. Stepping up a level this time but she is one of the key runners. PERFECT SPEED (4) will find this a little easier than her third on debut three weeks ago, beaten 1.5 lengths at the end of 1207m at Woodbine All Weather. Will benefit from that experience so she can feature again. LIVELY UP (2) resumes from a spell of four months and is having her first outing under new trainer William Tharrenos. Finished eighth at Woodbine All Weather over 1207m at the opening run last time in work.
