LATIN (2) has now landed four of his last five starts. Picked up well to score by a short-head over course and distance recently and is now three from four tackling track and trip, Thereabouts racing from stall six. MR NUGGET (6) battled on well to prevail by the same margin attempting slightly further here last time. Dropping back in journey will prove no bother as a dual course and distance winner and he warrants respect off a 1.5kg higher mark. FRANCESI (3) could also be suited by dropping back in trip after he followed up two 1600m wins with a good second contesting 1900m here seventeen days ago. LESSAY (9) also warrants consideration.
