Point-to-point winner POTTERSVILLE (5) looked like a different prospect from her hurdling debut when upped in trip at Exeter last time out. Rebecca Curtis' mare strode clear for a facile 26L success on that ocassion and looks tough to oppose from the foot of the weights. FIRM BUT FAIR (4) showed plenty of promise when second on his debut under Rules in a novices' hurdle at Bangor in November and he might be the one to capitalise should the main selection falter. ASSERTIVE WALK (3) ran well in a Chepstow bumper when last seen 405 days ago and could play a role on his hurdling debut if ready to go following a lengthy absence. FOUNTAINS BLENHEIN (1) is next best.
