VESTES (2) had a bit on his rivals last time with an impressive 4.5 lengths win over 1408m at Remington Park (Dirt). Has been in sound form this prep with three wins from seven starts. Leading contender. GUAPO (9) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 4 lengths over 1207m at this track (Dirt). Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SALT CREEK KID (8) is a genuine type with six minor placings from nine starts this campaign. 8 lengths from the winner in third last time out over 1207m at Remington Park (Dirt). Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. VALE (1) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1207m at Oaklawn Park, beaten 6 lengths into fourth. Nicely placed to find some form.
