TORMUND GIANTSBANE (2) was racing consistently with four consecutive top-two finishes before running fourth last time out in the G2 Winter Novice’s Hurdle at Sandown Park. Leading contender dropping markedly in grade. WOODLAND PARK (3) brings consistent form with two wins and four placed efforts last six outings including placing second at Uttoxeter providing most recent appearance. Could go one better. BARATABLET (4) secured a good 4L victory at Newcastle. Unable to follow up when fourth at Kelso. May return to winning ways. CAPTAIN BUTLER (6) needs to improve from a fifth tackling a Haydock Park handicap hurdle.
