ALCEDO (1) showed good battling qualities to score two starts back. Subsequently posted a solid second attempting Class 2 level at Doncaster. Off a break and back in trip now with trainer suddenly hitting form. Looks the one to beat. CABHFUILFUNGI (3) produced a better effort in defeat last time. Moves back up in trip. Often finds one too good however is entitled to respect. JOKER DE MAI (2) is yet to hit the heights for new trainer. Gradually seems to be working back to form. Outside chance. PALAMON (5) was well beaten finishing behind the last named. Would be no surprise were he to spring into life given connections.
