TESTING PATIENCE (8) produced a personal best under rules when finishing 2.25L second at Fontwell Park a fortnight ago. Could prove competitive enough to take beating. HAY MAX (2) showed promise on debut. Yet to replicate and might find things easier in handicaps so cannot be ruled out. SCOTTISH ANTHEM (6) proved smart on the flat. Produced a good second providing latest hurdle outing at Uttoxeter during July. Market confidence would be noteworthy. VANDERFLIER (9) performed to the same level both outings under rules. Worth watching in handicaps down the line with first time cheekpieces fitted after a wind operation.
