Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. POPOVICH (1) has three wins and one placing from nine races this campaign. Found a couple better last start at this track over 1300m. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. SIBARATO (2) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at this track two starts back then got the job done by 0.8 lengths as public elect last time out over 1100m at this track. Steps up a level but he is capable of running another bold race. BISMARK (6) did well to score two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when second over 1300m at this track, beaten one length. Well placed and can make amends.
