CHOW CHOW (6) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just five wins from 65 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 1300m at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Has the class to figure prominently. CALOCHITA (11) was safely held when seventh last time out over 1100m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Ignacio Isaias Valdivia gets the best out of this six-year-old entire. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. FRANK SLADE (1) did little and finished 5 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1100m at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his seventh at this track the run before. Likely improver with strong prospects. THE GREAT DANY (7) finished eighth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1100m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. Well placed and can figure in the finish again.
