MI GIGANTE (1) built on a nice third two starts back at this track with success as favourite over 1100m at this track a week ago, getting home by 3 lengths. Nicely placed to make it two on the bounce. NETHERLANDER (3) ran well below his best last time over 1100m at this track, beaten 3 lengths into fifth at $3.90. Likely to go forward from a nice draw. Sure to be in the finish. GUSTAVO TULIO (7) turned in a fine effort to win by 2.5 lengths at this course and distance last start in a far better run. Finds another suitable race and can maintain winning form. ROSITA DEL PUERTO (6) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1100m at this track, beaten 10 lengths into eighth. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
