FIRE STORM (1) built on a nice third two starts back at Turffontein Inside with a win as public elect over 1600m at Turffontein Inside six-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 0.6 lengths. Promising galloper who won only try here. Ideally placed to make it two on the trot. HUEHUETENANGO (4) returns from a spell of 13 months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished fifth at Vaal over 1800m when first-up last time in work.Has upside and goes well here. Expecting a bright start to the campaign. KAMBATI (6) was a strong winner last time over 1400m at this track, scoring by 1.75 lengths to make it three on end. Has a high cruising speed. First try at the trip but expected to measure up. PALACE ATTACK (5) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at Turffontein Inside over 1600m. Can sneak into the finish.
