ONE TIGER (7) turned in a strong performance first-up when in the money at Vaal but disappointed last time when eighth, beaten 10 lengths, at Turffontein Inside over 1000m. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. LONELY AS A CLOUD (10) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1000m at Vaal, beaten 0.7 lengths. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
