ABOUND (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 1000m at this track. Gets chance for an overdue win. DEAL MAKER (2) resumed over 1000m at Vaal last start and was too good for her rivals, scoring by half a length. Open to plenty of improvement and must be respected. THERE SHE GOES (7) improved sharply on her fourth two starts back at Turffontein Inside with a win over 1000m at Vaal three weeks ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths. Looks well placed so expect another big run. HIS LORDSHIP (3) could only manage sixth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1000m at this track, beaten just 0.8 lengths. Nicely placed to maintain the form.
