Open to plenty of improvement and he looms as a significant threat. GAMBOLING GHOST (2) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest at this track over 1609m. Goes well at this trip, recording five minor placings and has to be included. NAPA DUDE (3) resumed last start over 1207m at this track (Dirt) and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish third, beaten 6 lengths. Solid top-three candidate.
