Selections: 1-9-4-11

Earthlight colt VIOLET LEDUC (1) raced from the front prior to losing out by 0.5L placing second over 1600m at Bordeaux. Selected to break his maiden at the third attempt. ORYA (9) performed well debuting with a 5.5L third tackling 1800m in a newcomers contest at Salon-de-Provence. Expected to challenge. The experienced CIAO NENE (4) gets a chance to deliver another big effort following a 2.5L fifth competing in the previously mentioned Bordeaux race. A stablemate of the top pick LONELY ROAD (11) is a Pinatubo filly out of a mare who won on the flat in the UK. Of note with a tongue tie worn on debut.
