CORNISHMAN (2) settled well back last start and never threatened when 8 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1710m in the G2 Laffit Pincay Jr (San Antonio) Stakes at Santa Anita (Dirt). Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. HOLIDAY PAY (4) did a good job last start to finish second at this track (Dirt) over 1609m, beaten a nose. Commendable record at this trip with a win and three minor placings and has winning claims on best figures. BEARINGS (9) comes here off a break of 11 weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1609m at Saratoga. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
