VINCE LOMBARDI (9) has been in fine condition throughout the all-weather season and could be poised to gain another success tackling a track and trip that favours. Strong claims. BLUE LAKOTA (2) likewise arrives on the back of a win attempting this journey at Newcastle. Will take some pegging back again if putting best foot forward. EM FOUR (5) is somewhat inconsistent. Went close on penultimate start at Kempton and is capable if on a going day. AZURE ZAIN (1) comes here off a fair break but appears to be the class angle if fully fit. DARK SIDE THUNDER (8) brings a superb course and distance record though struggled recently.
