KIAMBA (1) started at $1.46 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 7 lengths at Aqueduct Turf (Turf) over 2213m. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise. MIDNIGHT CONCERTO (3) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish half a length back in second over 1710m at Listed level at Saratoga Turf (Turf). Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. MALIBU SMART (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 27 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1609m at Churchill Downs Turf, beaten 8 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is capable of a big performance. PRETTY TAPIT (6) accounted for a maiden field over 2414m at Churchill Downs Turf (Turf) last start, finishing 5.5 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Re-unites with Luis Saez who was on board last start. Harder here but should be involved in the finish.
