Finished off last campaign with a seventh at Keeneland (Dirt) four-and-a-half months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but looks nicely placed. Expected to be in the finish. SPIRIT FORWARD (1) settled well back and failed to come on last start when eighth over 1106m at SARATOGA Turf (Turf) at her first run back from a break. Going onto Lasix may be the catalyst for a return to form. ESSENCE L VEE (2) finished 11 lengths from the winner in seventh on turf at Aqueduct Turf two starts back. Missed the frame in another run on turf last time at Aqueduct Turf over 1710m when 11 lengths adrift in fifth. Worth another chance returning to the dirt.
