MY MAN JOE ROLDAN (1) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 5.5 lengths over 1710m at Del Mar (Dirt). Shaping up nicely and he is a great chance to go back-to-back. DESERT KAT (7) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 1106m at Del Mar. This is a nice drop in grade so he can take this out. BATTLE SCHOOL (6) brings the right form to this race after taking out a 1207m contest at Los Alamitos last time out by 2.25 lengths. Has solid credentials.
