SECURITY RYE (5) broke through for his maiden win over 1400m at this track last time. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and he is right in the mix again. THE GUARDIAN (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 21 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1200m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. PURE DABSTER (9) finished third last time over 1600m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 4.5 lengths. Will trim down second-up. In the right race and is one of the better hopes.
