EL TRIPLO (8) was fresh from a eight months break last start and scored by a head at this track. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. William Pereyra who has three wins when partnering stays on. Should be hard to stop. HOLY JOY (6) is a progressive galloper who is first-up since finishing eighth over 1400m in stakes class at this track ten months ago which was the only run of that prep. Goes well when fresh including a win and one minor placings. Should be poised just off the lead. Leading contender. BLUE DOLLAR (1) is a promising galloper who won at his only run last prep 11 months ago over 1600m at Palermo Turf. Has a strong record when resuming, including two wins. Well placed and sure to be competitive. GRAND CANYON (2) did a great job to score by 0.1 lengths over today's course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
