SOURDOUGH (2) registered a strong win at this track two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when fourth over 2000m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. MUCHO BISOU (12) surprised many by landing his maiden victory by 1.75 lengths over 2000m at this track. Handy draw will assist and he cannot be discounted. SNIPER'S EYE (6) is a six-year-old import having his first run for the N Zuriban barn. Hasn't raced since he finished fifth over 1609m at Newcastle All Weather 15 months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly for the new connections but he is among the leading chances. THROUBI (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only a head over 2000m at this track. Best figures measure up. Set to run well again.
