SOLEVO (4) was prominent from the outset when second over 1609m at this track (Dirt) last time out. Sure to give a brave sight again. DOWN THE ISLANDS (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1609m at this track, beaten 3 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. CLUB MESQUITE (3) last appeared four weeks ago over 1207m at Prairie Meadows when he finished second. This is his first run for the J R Caldwell stable. Has ability and makes plenty of appeal. BARBACOA (6) finished fourth last time out over 1710m at this track, beaten 12 lengths. One of the main contenders.
