STORMY PEARL (2) left behind four disappointing efforts finishing second in a 1200m handicap at Thirsk on most recent appearance. Holds winning course and distance form. Could go one better. STARSONG (3) placed second providing first run this season. Missed the frame in two subsequent starts including when fourth at Leicester twelve days ago. Will be thereabouts. STARSONG (3) has only managed to place once past six attempts which came three starts back contesting a Catterick handicap in October. Improvement expected. BAYRAAT (6) needs to offer some improvement from failing to place latest six outings..
