NETTUNO ITALIA (8) appeared to have improved winning at this course by 9L providing latest start. That results in a higher rating however could go close again with a similar effort. Little separated KIR (5) and FROM THE ASHES (2) in a clash at Limerick over Christmas. The latter subsequently put it all together to win a Fairyhouse handicap after several consistent performances. Both look to hold solid chances. SEAN MC (11) creeps in off a low weight and is progressing sharply with handicaps. Looks as though a victory might not be far away and is one of several with prospects in this open looking contest.
