WHATA MOON (1) built on a nice second when fresh from a spell two starts back at Lone Star Park (Dirt) with a win as public elect over 1106m at Lone Star Park (Dirt) four weeks ago, getting home by one length. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. APPEALING ADDIE (6) did well when resuming over 1609m at this track (Dirt) last start, finishing third and beaten 12 lengths. Has a solid second-up record and will strip much fitter for this. One of the better chances. SMART ALTERNATIVE (7) pushed forward and was a determined winner by 0.1 lengths over 1207m at this track (Dirt) last time out. Elvin Gonzalez who has two wins when partnering stays on. One of the better hopes.
