HOLY PETE (7) turned in a fair effort in Group 1 class at Remington Park (Dirt) over 402m at his last run 11 weeks ago, finishing fifth and beaten 0.5 lengths. Should be hard to stop. HOOKED N GONE (1) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner as favourite last start over 320m at Group 3 level at this track (Dirt). Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing. CARDIAC COWBOY (5) finished 1.5 lengths back in fourth over 320m in Group 3 class at this track (Dirt) last time out after a gutsy win two runs back. Has a superb record here at the journey with three wins and a 100% top-three strike rate. Not to be discounted.
