CLASSIC UNION (6) did well when resuming over 1710m at this track (Dirt) last start, finishing second and beaten 1.5 lengths. Has a strong record when second-up, including two wins, and should be fitter with a run under the belt. Rates highly on best form and should go very well. MARTINI MARTIN (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1710m at Laurel, beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth. Won't find this as tough so he is set to turn things around. BIRD KING (3) got home by just 0.3 lengths at his latest appearance over 1609m at Penn National (Dirt). Nice weight drop so he is one of the main contenders. CATTIN (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1673m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
