THE PUMA (6) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 3 lengths, over 2012m in the G1 Travers Stakes at Saratoga (Dirt). Has further improvement to come and is a key runner. IRON HONOR (2) is a promising type who finished in the placings over 1811m in the G1 Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park (Dirt) at his last appearance on July 18. Has two wins to his name when fresh from a spell. Should be poised just off the lead. Will be in this for a long way. MICANOPY (10) was a winner over 1710m in stakes class at this track (Dirt) last time, racing on the pace before getting the upper hand and scoring by 1.5 lengths. Takes on tougher opposition this time but is among the better hopes.
