SMOKE WAGON (8) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when third at this track (Dirt) over 1609m, beaten one length. Drawn out but going well enough to play a role. PATERNO (9) started at $5.40 last time but could only manage fourth, beaten 5 lengths, at this track over 1207m. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Deserves respect on best figures.
