Selected to break through for his first win with the step up in distance expected to suit. PIANOTEUR (7) performed well in finishing 4.25L fourth in a 1600m maiden at this course. Looks capable of challenging for the win. Racing in cheekpieces for the first time HERCULE STAR (5) gets a chance to shine following a 4.25L sixth at Marseille-Vivaux.
