Open to plenty of improvement and looks sure to be in the finish again. DON EVASOR (6) stepped up in trip to 1400m last time at this track and ran below his best, finishing 4.5 lengths away in fifth. Coming back in trip suits so can bounce back. DIDACTICO (1) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fifth over 1100m at San Isidro. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves another chance. AQUIMAN (3) resumes in a similar race to his only run last prep back on June 29 when third, beaten 4 lengths. Yet to win this track and distance but has recorded three minor placings from four attempts. Not to be discounted.
