MANDALA AHORA (10) finished second last time over 1300m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. In the right race and is one of the better hopes. VOUZNIKA (5) started at $4.15 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths at this track over 1600m. Nicely placed to make amends. SOME SONG (11) was comfortably accounted for when seventh last start over 1400m at this track. That followed a good first-up win here. She is well worth another chance. CURIOUS HIT (3) turned in a fine effort to win by 3 lengths at today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to cope.
