Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. GREAT AND SPLENDID (9) made it four minor placings in a row last start when second over 1600m at PALERMO. Has a high cruising speed. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. A LOS BIFES (3) is yet to break through in nine runs. Finished fourth at his last appearance over 1200m at La Plata on June 16. Expected to feature in the finish this time. SYLBIANO (11) returned from a spell a month ago when he was beaten 22 lengths into 13th over 1600m at San Isidro. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
