Was going well at the back end of last prep with placings at his last two starts, the latest at this course and distance. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Will be in this for a long way. MESATEL (7) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1000m at this track. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Makes plenty of appeal.
