MENDIGO Y REY (3) debuted five weeks ago when he finished eighth over 1200m at San Isidro. Capable of sharp improvement. KATSUMOTO (7) failed to threaten on debut last start, finishing in the second half of the field and 27 lengths from the winner over 1400m at this track. Likely improver and capable of a far better run. PHILIPPUS (11) has not raced since his debut on July 10 over 1200m at this track when he finished sixth. Worth following up in a field like this.
