SERENGUETI (7) is poised to win after placing at his last three outings, most recently when second over 2000m at San Isidro. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. PEQUENO BELT (8) was well fancied last start over 1400m at Rosario when fifth, beaten 12 lengths. Yet to win this track and distance but has recorded three minor placings from four attempts. Expected to go very well. MORO (3) resumed from a spell last start with a sound third over 1600m at this track. Hard to beat in this suitable race. FATIMO (1) last appeared three weeks ago over 1100m at this track when he finished sixth. This is his first run for the Jesus Jose Maria Rodriguez stable. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
