ROMAIKINA (4) is a 13-start maiden who returned last time and finished tenth at this track over 1400m. Improvement to come and this is her chance to break through. HOLYRIDE (7) is yet to break through after 7 career starts. He was a gutsy fourth last time out over 1300m at this track following a minor placing at this track over 1200m the run prior. Should be in the mix. EMMA NISTEL (5) resumes. Didn't make an impact at her only run last prep on July 5, finishing sixth over 1000m at Tandil. Lining up today for the first time for trainer Juan Manuel Pezzola. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will give backers a great sight. SUGAR HOLIDAY (3) resumes from a spell of 18 months. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 1600m at San Isidro. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
