CONQUERING CAT (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner in second over 1710m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. DETERMINEDLY (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1811m at this track, beaten 5 lengths into fifth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. ONTHESTAGE (5) has not won for over a year, the latest running second at this track (Dirt) over 1609m. Generally goes well here with a win and three places from 12 tries and gets chance to feature.
