WARTIME HERO (6) is a nine-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Michael Hewitt stable. Hasn't raced since finishing in the placings at Remington Park (Dirt) nine weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but goes well fresh from a spell, filling a placing three times from eight runs. Bold showing expected. COME OUT FIGHTING (10) finished seventh over 1609m at Del Mar (Dirt) at his most recent appearance on November 9. Has switched to the Sean Williams stable. Among the better hopes. RED MOUNTAIN (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1609m at Remington Park, beaten 6 lengths into fifth. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
