LAUGHTERINTHERAIN (5) stepped forward on final juvenile start tackling all-weather at Lingfield in December (1400m) coming home 1.25L second. Expected to be thereabouts representing an in-form trainer. Fellow handicap debutant REEM RAK (2) shaped nicely across three starts last autumn. Finished third beaten 9L stepping up to this distance on the last occasion. Contender. There was little to separate JAMIE SOMMERS (6) and GALILEO CHARM (7) at Southwell last time. Both were short of room at an important stage and stuck on late. Moving up to 1600m now for the first time and the pair are worthy of consideration in an open contest.
