POOROLDMACKLEY (4) finished 2.5L second over 5020m at Plumpton last week shaping as though this longer test could suit. A previous fourth tackling 4600m at Worcester adds further stamina evidence. FINAL ENTRY (2) was fourth contesting 4600m at Worcester this month. Did win at this track in June and revisiting course and distance gives him strong claims. ASK PETER (5) placed twice here this summer including a neck second attempting 3400m in June. The longer trip is uncharted territory however she remains capable of getting involved. FRENCH DIABLO (7) finished fourth at Plumpton on most recent appearance. Not wholly discounted.
