GENTLEMAN BILL (1) placed third contesting a Wetherby handicap chase two starts back on Boxing Day. Suffered an unlucky fall last time out attempting a Doncaster handicap chase on Thursday. Quickly turned out and set to bounce back. JOECOOKER (5) failed to transform two placed efforts into a win when fifth in a course and distance handicap chase last time. Placed third and second here and at Wetherby respectively. Will be thereabouts. ROCK ON JET (6) improved from pulling up on seasonal debut at Ayr when placing third at the same venue last month. More to come. BIG JOHN WAYNE (4) finished last of five on first chase outing at Ayr. Improvement expected.
