HAITI COULEURS (3) steps up considerably in grade after a decisive 3L success over 6100m at Chepstow in the Welsh National. Maintains a strong record with Sean Bowen engaged who retains the ride. Hard to beat despite the class rise. L'HOMME PRESSE (1) returned in good order following a Cheltenham placing with a 0.8L defeat in the G2 Cotswold Chase over 5100m. Represents the main danger. LEAVE OF ABSENCE (4) was beaten a head at Ascot tackling 4800m during December and makes for genuine appeal. RISKINTHEGROUND (2) was well held at Cheltenham last time. Needs a major turnaround however is impossible to discount in what could prove to be a tactical affair.
